“SkyPod” Fuel/Cargo Combination
The “SkyPod” from Alaska SkyCraft is available with a 26 gallon fuel capacity forward, and 7 cubic feet of cargo capacity in the aft portion. With the same low drag shape as the cargo pod, there are almost no speed or cooling penalties. This is the easiest 26 gallons that you can imagine … two more hours of fuel plus the additional cargo space. The fuel is transferred to the aircraft fuel system using an electric pump with a panel control that automatically shuts off when the pod is empty.
